7 kilometers from Holiday Home, laying on the hill above the Dobra river and by the old Carolina road leading from Karlovac to the Adriatic Sea, this town was founded in the late 15th century for defense against the Turks. The towns strategically important position ensured life continuity and survival until 1945, when it was burned and left to continous decay. Despite the fact that the reconstruction has not fully been completed, the town, with its powerful walls and towers, stands proudly above the Dobra river.
